RAISEimpact
Raising AI Safety Effectiveness and Impact
RAISEimpact is a program designed to help organizations working on reducing AI risks strengthen their management and leadership practices to amplify their effectiveness and reach their full impact potential. RAISEimpact is fully funded by Open Philanthropy.
What does our program offer?
We combine in-depth discovery, collaborative problem-solving, and targeted interventions into a process that’s tailored to your context and designed to create lasting improvements.
Step 1 - 30-Minute Call
Each engagement begins with a 30-minute exploration call to discuss the program, the potential for increasing your impact, answer your questions, and mutually evaluate our fit for working together.
Step 2 - Leadership Team Workshop
We facilitate a two-hour workshop that brings your leadership team together to uncover opportunities, surface blind spots, and align on what matters most for increasing effectiveness and impact.
Step 3 - Review of Recommendations
We deliver a set of clear, high-impact recommendations based on our findings, followed by a discussion to review them, address your questions, and align on next steps.
Step 4 - Implementation Support
From there, we work alongside you to implement tailored interventions—practical, evidence-based changes designed to address your unique challenges and help your organization operate at its full potential.
Who can participate, and what does it cost?
To be eligible, organizations must be working to reduce global catastrophic risks (GCRs) from AI and have at least five paid staff.
We currently have four AI safety organizations as clients, and are still offering at least two more RAISEimpact leadership team workshops to candidates. Pending the results of the workshops, we’ll proceed with one additional organization for the first round of implementation support, based on fit and where we can create the most value.
Thanks to our May 2025 Open Philanthropy grant, all costs are covered for these initial participants.
